Could just be I'm aging but...

I know I'm in my mid 20s now and my hearing isn't what it was when I was a young whippersnapper, but I'm pretty sure in the third period of tonight's Flames game Don Wittman got a Flames forward confused with a polish sausage.

Did anyone else here him say Kielbasa when he actually meant to say Chuck Kobasew?

I don't really get what this website is. Is it just links to other places with a little place for you to post your useless, not-so-amusing babble? Why are there no pictures of you? Are you going to post the pool standings? What is this?

Natalie.

I definately heard Kielbasa which was one of the few laughs I got out of the game! Maybe next time it will be "Salami".

Sad Flame Fan,

I agree with Natalie - what is the point of this blog? Unless somebody opens it up for all of us to post on, then I am less inclined to visit to read the same two posters.
I also agree with her commment, where are the results and why aren't they posted online?

A blog, which is short for web log, is an online diary that allows users to share their thoughts and opinions with others. In this case the two poolmasters decided to set up a blog to supplement the comments we provide during the pool in our regular email updates. This forum also makes it easier for people to respond to our musings using comment pages such as this.

So far RM has sent out two pool updates, hopefully you have all receieved them. I have not sent one out, simply because no one has any points on the team side.

Finally, in order to allow more participation among poolies, I have added an open thread at the top of the page that will allow participants to talk about the playoffs amongst themselves. Enjoy!
