Hmmm... starting to take shape? Indeed. Truly, things will not be fully formed until I am on top. Make no mistake! I am going to win. I was smart about my picks this year, unlike some people (cough Pete) who make their pool picks based on the colours of the hockey jerseys and how cute the defensemen are.
I do indeed think the Sabres new uniforms are awesome, especially the retro third jerseys. They remind me of the days of the Winnipeg Jets (sigh).
And yes Brian Campbell is quite fetching with his curly locks.
But unlike what Ms. Landon has suggested, none of that influenced my selection of the Sabres as Stanley Cup champs. My decision was based purely on their talented roster, excellent goaltending and their dedicated fans.
